1. What we collect
The email address you sign in with, what you bought and the address your receipt goes to.
When you run a Face Search: the selfie you take and the face template computed from it. Nothing about your face is collected unless you start a search yourself.
When you browse: the pages you open and the photos you view, so the club knows which matches people are looking for. We do not track you across other websites.
2. Biometric data & Face Search
A face template is generated only when you start a Face Search, and only after you have given written consent on the screen before it. The template is a mathematical representation — it cannot be turned back into a photograph of you.
Selfie & face template
Deleted within 7 days of the search.
Event photos
Removed 12 months after the match, unless the club sets a shorter window.
Saved face (optional)
Kept until you delete it, so new photos of you are found automatically. You can delete it at any time from your account.
State laws we follow
Illinois BIPA · Texas CUBI · Washington My Health My Data · California CCPA/CPRA. Where these give you a stronger right than this policy describes, the law wins.
3. How we use your data
To find your photos, to sell and deliver them, to pay the photographers and the club their share, and to answer you when you write to us.
We do not use your face or your photos to train any model, ours or anyone else's.
4. Sharing & service providers
The club whose store you bought from sees the order, not your biometric data.
We use processors to run the service: Amazon Web Services (storage and face matching), Stripe (payments — card details go to Stripe, never to us) and an email provider for receipts. They may only act on our instructions.
We never sell or share personal information for money or for cross-context behavioural advertising.
5. Your privacy rights (CA, IL, TX, WA…)
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it — including your face template and your account. Use the links in the footer of this store, or write to privacy@picsports.io.
We answer within 45 days and we will not treat you differently for asking.
6. Children's privacy — COPPA
The store is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information or let them run a Face Search.
Youth sports are photographed with the club's authorization. A parent or guardian who wants a photograph of their child removed can write to privacy@picsports.io and we take it down.
7. Security, retention & contact
Photos and selfies are stored encrypted, reachable only through signed links that expire. Access is limited to the people who need it.
We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Everything else follows the schedule above.
